Spring 2008
Cutting Through the Red Tape: Federal Requirements for a New Winery
Starting a new winery can be overwhelming. Where do you start? Who do you contact? Which government agencies will you work with? This class will address these questions and then help you through the paperwork required by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Designed for the person who plans to begin operation prior to next year's crush, this class will be very specific in dealing with the federal and state "red tape" as well as getting through inspections.
