Power Up With PowerPoint (Grades: 4-6)
Imagine giving a presentation to your class that includes movies, visuals, sounds, text and websites! PowerPoint can bring all of these exciting multimedia elements to your fingertips. Learn how to make a slideshow presentation centered on a particular idea. Your choice of theme will lead you to particular color palettes, animations, transitions, movies, and sounds that tell your story. An African Animal theme might generate colors from the stunning landscapes of Kenya, the fierce attack of an African wild cat, with the thundering beat of tribal drums in the background. These PowerPoint features can add tremendous interest to any subject. Show off your creations on the last day and take home a CD of your presentations.
