About the Program

Taught at SSU, participants can access the learning opportunities and excitement of an esteemed University. Students attend stimulating and intriguing courses and lecture series offered by distinguished retired faculty and other experts. Areas of study range across the Arts and Humanities, the Social Sciences and Natural Sciences, including special topics of contemporary interest to Institute participants.

OLLI students have access to numerous campus resources, including the Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center and Library, the University Art Gallery, the Sonoma Film Institute, the Donald & Maureen Green Music Center and educational travel opportunities. Parking, food service and are offered purely for the pleasure of learning--no tests or grades!

You can reach the Sonoma Mountain Village classroom (in the Event Center) by driving east from campus to Petaluma Hill Road, then about a mile south to Valley House Drive, then Right, or by following either Camino Collegio or Bodway Parkway south to their endings on Valley House; turn right and follow signs for the Event Center and Sally Tomato's, at 1100 Valley House Drive.
