Welcome to August Intersession!

August Intersession classes for 2009 run from July 27-August 19. Please check each class for specific times, days of the week, and beginning and start dates.

Intersession courses offer SSU continuing students units in residence, the same as courses taken during the academic terms.

Please register for August Intersession courses online (with credit card) or offline (via fax, mail, or in-person at our office) . For more information or to register over the phone please call (707) 664-2394.

Standard Unit Load
When you regsiter for Intersession courses, you are bound by the same enrollment limits that apply to any other term. The standard unit limit is 1 unit per week of instruction. If you can prove a 3.0 or better grade point average, you may enroll for up to 1-1/3 units per week of instruction (4 units in 3 weeks). If your grade point average is less than 3.0, you must petition for approval. Petition forms are available in Extended Education or Admissions & Records. Please return complete petitions to the Registrar, Extended Education, Stevenson Hall 1012. To ensure formal consideration of your petition, you must submit it at least one week prior to the day of the first class meeting.

Note: Summer University Credit: Special Session classes are also available earlier in the summer.

Summer Housing is available to those students who will be living on campus during fall 2009!

Why try to find a place to live off campus when you can find newer, nicer, and closer accommodations right here on the SSU campus?

Beaujolais is conveniently located on the southeast side of campus for quick access to the main campus. Enjoy the Mediterranean style architecture of Beaujolais Village while lounging next to the pool...after class of course! Beaujolais has many amenities including individual bathrooms and showers,shared kitchens, and living rooms for four. Deadline to receive Housing Application is May 13, 2009 no later than 12pm.
