Tasting Room Management


The Tasting Room Management certificate helps prepare tasting room staff to step up to more responsibility by taking courses in direct shipping, staffing, marketing, wine club management, data base management, sales, budgeting, and customer relationship management. This certificate requires the completion of 8 half day courses. The program can be completed in one semester, or at your own pace. It costs $1200 ($150 per half-day seminar).

Students must complete these 3 core courses:

  • Introduction to Tasting Room Management
  • State Compliance for Direct Shipping: A Hands-On Overview
  • Building a Profitable Wine Club

In addition to the above courses, we highly recommend completion of the Alcohol Beverage Control courses:
